Why co-locate with Caznet?
Most co-location providers just give you a rack. Caznet gives you the rack, the WAN back to your office, and a local Adelaide team managing all of it — on one invoice.
Carrier-neutral — with a local team
Bring your own carrier, use one of the 13 on-net providers, or let Caznet handle your WAN back to the office as well — entirely your call. We have no lock-in agenda, but if you want rack space, connectivity and network all on one invoice from one Adelaide team, that option is there.
Adelaide-based support team
Our support team is based in Adelaide. When something needs attention, we're a short drive away — not escalating a ticket to an offshore call centre or a Sydney NOC.
Operating since 2015
Over a decade of continuous co-location operation in Adelaide. We understand the local carrier ecosystem, the facility, and the specific requirements of South Australian businesses.
Fixed pricing, no surprises
Your monthly co-location cost is fixed for the contract term. No CPI adjustments, no surprise charges. The only variables are excess power and optional add-on services you choose.
Data centre specifications
172 Morphett Street, Adelaide CBD — a dedicated data centre facility operating since 2015.
Security you can rely on
Multiple independent layers of physical security protect your equipment around the clock.
Connectivity & cross-connects
The facility is connected to multiple upstream carriers, giving you genuine path diversity and access to Adelaide's carrier ecosystem.
Multi-carrier diversity
Multiple upstream providers terminate at the facility. No single carrier failure can take your connectivity offline — built-in resilience without additional complexity.
Fibre cross-connects
Connect your rack directly to other tenants or carriers in the facility via a fibre cross-connect. Available from $70 per month — ideal for private interconnects and low-latency links.
Caznet network integration
Extend your co-location back to your office via Caznet's private IP network or dark fibre — a single provider managing both your facility space and your WAN connectivity.
Connect your offices & sites to the facility
Co-location is only part of the picture. Caznet can connect your Adelaide office, branch sites, or remote infrastructure directly back to your rack — keeping everything on a private, managed path rather than the public internet.
Dark Fibre
Physical fibre strands between your premises and the data centre — entirely yours, with no shared infrastructure and no bandwidth ceiling. You run your own equipment at each end and get the full capacity of the fibre at whatever speed and protocol your workload demands.
250 Mbps – 100 Gbps
Managed point-to-point Ethernet circuits between your site and the facility, available from 250 Mbps to 100 Gbps. Caznet delivers the circuit end-to-end — Layer 2 or Layer 3, SLA-backed, and monitored 24/7. The right choice when you want managed, guaranteed-bandwidth connectivity without operating the underlying fibre yourself.
Private connections to AWS, Azure & Google Cloud
Via the Megaport platform — which is on-net at this facility — Caznet can provision private, dedicated connections from your co-located infrastructure directly to the major cloud providers, bypassing the public internet entirely.
A dedicated private circuit from your rack to AWS — consistent throughput, lower latency than internet-based access, and more predictable costs for data transfer.
A private connection into Microsoft Azure, bypassing the internet for your hybrid workloads, Microsoft 365 data flows, and Azure Virtual Desktop traffic.
Direct private connectivity into Google Cloud Platform for GCP workloads, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other Google services that benefit from a private path.
Every deployment is different. Talk to our team about your sites, bandwidth requirements, and cloud destinations.
Enterprise Internet connectivity
Dedicated internet access for co-location customers. Unlimited data, delivered via cross connect within the facility — no transit fees, no congestion.
| Speed | 12-month (ex GST) | 36-month (ex GST) |
|---|---|---|
| 100 Mbps | $255/mth | $229.50/mth |
| 1 Gbps | $340/mth | $306/mth |
| 10 Gbps | $2,760/mth | $2,556/mth |
Additional IPv4 allocations
Need more than one usable IP? Additional static IPv4 allocations are available as a monthly add-on.
| Allocation | Usable IPs | Monthly (ex GST) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| /29 | 6 | $45/mth | — |
| /28 | 14 | $85/mth | — |
| /27 | 30 | $160/mth | Justification required |
| /26 | 62 | $310/mth | Justification required |
| /25 | 126 | $580/mth | Justification required |
Allocations of /27 and larger require technical justification in accordance with APNIC policy — demonstrating 25% immediate utilisation with 50% within 12 months. Contact us to discuss your requirements before ordering.
BYO IP — $100/mth: Already own IP address space? Caznet will advertise your prefixes on your behalf via BGP — no public ASN required on your end.
Co-location use cases
Co-location suits a wide range of organisations — from businesses moving off expensive cloud to those needing a compliant, physically secure home for critical infrastructure.
Data sovereignty & compliance
Regulated industries — health, legal, government and financial services — often require data to remain physically within Australia, or within a known, auditable location. A co-location rack gives you that certainty in a way public cloud cannot.
Cloud cost optimisation
Cloud compute costs scale unpredictably. Organisations with stable, predictable workloads often find that co-locating owned hardware delivers substantially lower total cost of ownership than equivalent cloud instances — with no egress fees.
Disaster recovery & business continuity
A co-location rack makes an ideal secondary site for DR replication, offsite backup or failover infrastructure — geographically separated from your primary location, with power and connectivity independent of your main site.
Network edge & low-latency workloads
With 13 carriers on-net and direct cross-connects available, the facility is ideal for network edge nodes, VoIP infrastructure, SD-WAN hubs and any workload where latency to the Adelaide carrier ecosystem matters.
Server room exit
Maintaining a server room in your own premises carries real costs — power, cooling, fire suppression, physical security, and the ongoing compliance burden. Co-location offloads all of that to a professionally managed facility.
High-density compute
Our full rack options support up to 6kW of power per rack, with options to discuss higher-density requirements. If your workload has outgrown a standard office power circuit, a dedicated data centre environment is the right answer.
Co-location vs cloud
Cloud is the right answer for many workloads. But for stable, long-running infrastructure — co-location frequently wins on cost, compliance and control.
| Co-location | Public cloud | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | Fixed and predictable | Variable — can spike with usage |
| Hardware ownership | You own the hardware | Provider owns the infrastructure |
| Data sovereignty | Known physical location in Adelaide | May traverse multiple jurisdictions |
| Egress / data transfer fees | None | Charged per GB out |
| Physical access | 24/7 access to your rack | No physical access |
| Latency to Adelaide | Sub-millisecond within the facility | Dependent on region selected |
| Scalability | Hardware procurement required | Instant, API-driven |
| Best suited for | Stable, long-running workloads; compliance-sensitive data; DR secondaries | Variable workloads; rapid scale-up; dev/test environments |
Many organisations run a hybrid model — co-locating core infrastructure while using cloud for variable workloads. Caznet can connect both via private WAN.
100% power availability SLA
Our co-location service is backed by a formal Service Level Agreement on power availability — a contractual commitment to keeping your infrastructure running.
Remote Hands
Need something done at the rack without travelling to the facility? Our on-site team can handle it for you.
Cable management, equipment reboots, visual inspections, USB insertions and more — scheduled in advance.
Ideal for maintenance windows that need to run overnight or on weekends — booked in advance.
When something goes wrong and you need eyes on the hardware now — no notice required, outside business hours.
Business hours billed in 15-minute increments. After-hours (arranged) minimum 1 hour. After-hours emergency call-outs are subject to a 2-hour minimum charge.
