The problem
Copyworld operates nationally with offices in Adelaide and Perth, supporting customers across Australia with print, photocopiers, and document management solutions.
Their previous network environment was built on a mix of legacy Optus voice services and low-speed Amcom network connectivity, resulting in higher latency, limited bandwidth, and increased operational costs.
The business required a more capable and scalable network to support centralised systems, improve performance between sites, and enable continued growth. Telephony services were also expensive and limited, with separate systems that did not provide the flexibility or features required for a national business.
What we did
Caznet designed and delivered a managed wide area network connecting Copyworld's Adelaide and Perth offices directly to their data centre infrastructure over dedicated fibre.
This evolved into 1 Gbps fibre connectivity between both sites and their co-located infrastructure in the Adelaide data centre, providing high-speed, low-latency inter-site performance.
Caznet provided data centre co-location services, enabling Copyworld to consolidate servers, applications, and core systems into a single, centralised environment.
A unified business phone system was deployed across both Adelaide and Perth, replacing legacy voice services with a modern, scalable platform capable of supporting high call volumes and improving internal and external communications.
Caznet also provides Microsoft 365 licensing, supporting Copyworld's ongoing use of cloud-based services alongside their centralised infrastructure.
The result
Copyworld now operates on a high-performance national network with consistent 1 Gbps connectivity between sites and their data centre environment.
The centralisation of infrastructure has simplified management, reduced latency, and improved performance for both internal systems and customer-facing services.
The unified phone system has improved communication across both offices, enabled better call handling, and reduced overall telephony costs.
By consolidating network, infrastructure, and communications services with Caznet, Copyworld has achieved a more reliable, scalable, and cost-effective IT environment to support its national operations.
