The problem

Orewin operates a high-value business from a purpose-built commercial facility, incorporating office space along with hot desking and co-working environments.

Given the scale of operations and the nature of the business, reliable connectivity, communications, and infrastructure are critical. Any outage would result in significant operational and financial impact.

The new building also included integrated building management systems, including biometric access control and other smart building features, further increasing the reliance on stable and resilient systems.

Orewin required a solution that would deliver high performance, redundancy, and flexibility across both on-premise and data centre environments.

What we did

Caznet delivered a complete connectivity, infrastructure, and communications solution as part of the new building deployment.

This included installing dedicated dark fibre to the site and delivering a 10 Gbps enterprise internet service to support high-demand operations.

Caznet also provided data centre colocation services, enabling Orewin to deploy infrastructure both on-site and within the data centre. This hybrid design allows systems to operate across both environments, providing failover capability and improved resilience.

A new business phone system was implemented to support both Orewin's internal operations and the co-working and hot desking spaces within the building.

Advanced features were deployed, including an intercom system integrated with the VoIP platform, allowing staff to answer door calls and grant access remotely from any handset.

The overall solution was designed to integrate with the building's management systems while ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
