The problem
Beaumont Tiles operates a national retail network, with corporate infrastructure supporting both internal operations and franchise locations across Australia.
Their corporate environment was previously split across multiple platforms — on-premise infrastructure within their office, Telstra CSX (which was being decommissioned), and some Azure services. This created complexity, fragmentation, and the need to relocate infrastructure as part of an office move.
At the same time, franchise locations were relying on centrally managed voice and internet services via corporate Vocus accounts, with a need to transition to independently managed, scalable services. The business required a reliable, local data centre provider to consolidate infrastructure, along with a flexible provider to support both corporate and franchise connectivity and communications.
What we did
Caznet provided data centre co-location services in Adelaide, enabling Beaumont Tiles to deploy their own infrastructure cluster in a secure, high-performance environment.
This allowed them to consolidate workloads previously spread across on-premise systems and Telstra CSX into a single, centralised platform. The new environment now operates as a core site within their Vocus MPLS network.
Caznet also delivers enterprise fibre internet connectivity within the data centre, along with ongoing support for their infrastructure and FortiGate firewall clusters.
For franchise locations, Caznet deployed NBN Business Internet and business phone systems across eight sites — six in Victoria and two in South Australia.
These services enabled franchises to transition away from centrally managed corporate telco services to their own independent, business-grade connectivity and communications solutions.
The result
Beaumont Tiles successfully consolidated critical infrastructure into a modern, secure Adelaide data centre environment, improving reliability, scalability, and operational flexibility.
By replacing legacy Telstra CSX and on-premise infrastructure, they simplified their architecture while maintaining integration with their existing MPLS network.
Franchise locations now operate with independent, standardised internet and voice services, reducing reliance on corporate systems and improving flexibility at the site level.
Caznet's combination of data centre, connectivity, and support services provides Beaumont Tiles with a scalable foundation for ongoing operations and future growth.
