This service provides symmetric bandwidth at the selected speed (e.g. 1000/1000 Mbps). High CoS operates at a 1:1 contention ratio — dedicated bandwidth. Low CoS operates on a best-effort contention basis.

About this service

nbn® Enterprise Ethernet is a Layer 2 carrier-grade fibre service delivering dedicated symmetric bandwidth end-to-end through the nbn® access network. Supplied under nbn® Enterprise Ethernet wholesale access products. Intended for business use only. Caznet does not offer residential Enterprise Ethernet services.

Class of Service

Low CoS suits most business internet workloads — cloud applications, web browsing, email and general connectivity. High CoS provides strict performance parameters (frame delay <5.25ms, jitter <1ms, frame loss <0.01%) — suitable for real-time voice, MPLS circuits, synchronous storage replication and latency-sensitive applications.

Availability & site qualification

Available where nbn® Enterprise Ethernet can be deployed, subject to individual site qualification (SQ). Coverage is not universal. Caznet will advise on availability and any civil works costs after SQ. Delivery is typically 50–90 business days from order acceptance.

Charges

  • Monthly plan: see pricing table above (ex GST + 10% GST)
  • Excess data: $0 — unlimited, unmetered
  • Static IP address: included
  • Exit fee: remaining months × monthly charge (ex GST)
  • Setup: $0 on 36-month term
  • Fibre build contribution: may apply at certain sites — advised after site qualification. nbn® cost absorbed in most cases.

Billing

Billed monthly in advance on the 1st of each month for that calendar month (e.g. 1 January covers 1–31 January). New services are billed from the service start date to the end of that month, then monthly thereafter.

Payment

Direct debit, credit card, or EFT. Payment details are shown at the bottom of your invoice.

What you need

nbn® will install a Business Network Termination Device (BNTD) at your premises. A person 18+ must be present for the installation appointment. You will need to supply your own compatible enterprise-grade router — Caznet can assist with selection and configuration. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Service level (SLA)

Gold eSLA — 4-hour restoration target, 24/7, for qualifying nbn® network faults (not a contractual guarantee). Includes a 99.95% monthly uptime Service Availability Guarantee (SAG) — service rebates apply if the target is not met. Priority enterprise fault queue. 24/7 support.

Optional add-ons

4G/5G failover; enterprise-grade router options. Pricing on request — contact Caznet.

Bundling

Not required. Enterprise Ethernet can be used standalone or alongside Caznet phone systems, co-location, or managed network services.

Qualifications — when service may be restricted or cancelled

Caznet may suspend or cancel this service if you: fail to pay your account; breach our Acceptable Use Policy or service agreement; engage in abusive conduct toward staff; or as required by law or by nbn®.

Changes to plan or pricing

If Caznet makes a materially detrimental change to your plan or pricing, you will receive at least 30 days' written notice and may cancel without penalty before the change takes effect.
