The Franklin Hotel

The problem

The Franklin Hotel is a well-known Adelaide venue offering accommodation, a pub, and a restaurant. With guests staying on-site, reliable internet access had become an expectation rather than an extra.

The hotel was receiving complaints from accommodation guests about poor internet quality — slow speeds and unreliable connections that impacted their stay. The existing infrastructure was not capable of supporting the number of simultaneous users across the property.

The hotel also needed a modern phone system to support day-to-day operations across its different areas.

What we did

Caznet installed a high-speed fibre internet service to replace the existing connection, providing the bandwidth and reliability required to support both hotel operations and guest access.

The fibre service underpins free Wi-Fi for patrons of the pub and restaurant, as well as reliable connectivity for accommodation guests throughout the property.

A hosted business phone system was also deployed to support communications across the hotel.

The result

Guest complaints about internet quality have been resolved. Accommodation guests now have access to fast, reliable connectivity, and pub and restaurant patrons enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi backed by a high-speed fibre connection.

The hotel's phone system now runs on a modern, hosted platform that's simple to manage and reliable in day-to-day use.

With both connectivity and communications handled by a single local provider, The Franklin Hotel has a stable foundation that supports its guests and operations.
